Ladakh is dream destination for many of us and want to visit Ladakh once in your lifetime. But for Ladakh tour it’s really important to get right tour plan, guide and road map. Also what are the top 15 places to visit in Ladakh, this video is all about that.

At first you need to decide when do you want to visit Ladakh. See there are many time in a year when you can visit Leh Ladakh. But the ideal time is May to September when you get good weather, you can get snow also and if you are lucky you can get snowfall.

Leh Ladakh Itinerary 2022: You can visit Ladakh in different way. Like first is as a road trip. starting from Delhi – Manali – Leh – the returning back from Srinagar to Delhi or this can be reverse also.

Another way is by air. Fly in and out from Leh. But in this way you have to rest 2 days at Leh before for acclimatize your body and then you can start traveling around.

Now Let’s plan it like most of the people do and which need less day and money. Like the second way and also I will tell you what are the places you should visit during your Ladakh trip.

7 Day Leh Ladakh Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi to Leh by flight

Now as you reach to Leh, rest for atleast 1 day, don’t do much activities.

Day 2: Rest as well. Ladakh govt is now strictly mention for tourist to rest atleast 48 hours after reaching Leh.

Day 3: Next Day go for Leh local sightseeing.

So here are the places you can visit in Leh

#1. Shanti Stupa – this is a very beautiful place from where you can get the view of Leh city.
#2. Leh Palace – You need to hike a little bit to reach there.
#3. Thiksey Monastery
#4. Stakna Gompa
#5. Phyang Monastery – Next is another monastery which is called Phyang Monastery
#6. Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. – This is a breath taking place and my personal favorite.
#7. Lamayuru – the moon land of Ladakh
#8. Magnetic hill
#9. Hall of Fame – You should definitely visit this place to pay respect to our vir Indian soldiers.
#10. Leh Main Market

Road trip in Ladakh has a different fan base. The roads with the view always a liller combination.

Day 4: Next day start journey for Nubra Valley. After reaching Khardungla Pass at 17500 ft above the sea level, you may get snowfall there also. After crossing Khardungla you will enter Nubra within 3 – 4 hours.

In Nubra you can visit these sightseeing spots:

1. Diskit Monastery
2. 108 feet tall statue of Maitreya Buddha
3. Hunder Sand Dunes and ride on doubl hump camels

Day 5: Pangong Lake

Next Day you can go for Pangong Lake from Nubra. This road is going through beautiful Shayok Valley. Pangong main as such karne ka kuch ehi hain. You just enjoy the the beauty of the lake, the surroundings and the nature. Pangong Lake ke pass you can spend some quality time. This is a place which can bound you to think how beautiful is our mother nature. Stay in camp there and also don’t mis the night sky at there.

Day 6: Tso Moriri

In 6th Day let’s start journey for Tso Moriri from Pangong. Before you reach Tso Moriri we will get to see another lake called Tso Kiagar. Don’t miss it as this lake is still unknown to many.

Day 7: Next day come to Leh from Tso Moriri. Today you can visit Changspa, Leh market and buy some souvenirs, gifts from the market.

Day 8: So this is the last day of the tour, today you can fly out from Leh to Delhi.

And Here is the summarized trip itinerary

If you are going in a group like 5-7 person then the cost will be around 24k-25k per person. If you are two like going with your another friend, your wife or husband then for two it will cost 38k-39k per person excluding airfare.

In this price cost includes Airport transfer, hotel & camp stay cost, Breakfast, dinner cost, all permits, all sightseeing and transport with innova car, oxygen cylinder cost.
