4. Find Fortune at the Trevi Fountain

This awe-inspiring Baroque masterpiece by Nicola Salvi features a marble statue of Neptune at the center surrounded by tritons. Legend has it that anyone who throws a coin in the fountain will return to Rome. However you will have to visit the place early in the morning or late at night when the crowd is less or else brave your way through the huge tourist crowd vying for a perfect selfie in front of the Trevi fountain.

5. Shot at Centro Storico

One of Rome’s great joys is losing yourself in this narrow cobblestone streets of Centro Storico. You will find churches with Baroque art, private courtyards of wealthy Romans, boutiques selling everything from carved wooden figurines to precious jewelry, private courtyards where the wealthiest Romans live, enticing gelaterias, cafés, and restaurants.
