Burj Khalifa
You can almost spot the building from most parts of the city Dubai. You can book for sites to go to the 124/125th floors at the observation deck where you’ll get a nice view of the city
Look for cheaper tickets online but book in advance at least 48 hrs before. You can get tickets on the main website for the day off but they’ll be quite a price. Very crowded especially afternoon. In the evening there is a fountain show by the mall with the lights from the tower dancing to the music. This is Quite a marvel.
Desert Safari
One of the best excursions on your Dubai trip.Desert Safari is too good. You can book a desert safari Dubai package online that include safari, dinner, camel ride, belly dance, shisha, some stunts. You will find people riding different desert scooters as well. The scenery is spectacular and quite surreal when you get out on the dunes for photos. This is a must if visiting Dubai.
Dubai Gold Souk
The Gold Souk is Dubai’s most famous and visited souk. This souk has hundreds of retailers offering a huge selection of jewelry made from Gold, Silver, Diamonds and many more precious gems and metals.
The market price of gold is displayed on signs around the souk and in individual stores. Seller will initially set a high price. But it can be easily negotiable and reduce by as high as 15%. Credit cards are accepted but better to shop in Cash for good discount. The souk is located in Deira, the nearest metro station is Al Ras Metro, and is open all seven days. Good if you visit after 2 pm.
Dhow Cruise Creek
Why not spend a night by taking a dhow cruise creek tour. The hospitality is outstanding. From the moment you enter the ship, you are treated as a valued guest. They could not have done more to ensure our comfort. The food is average and not warm enough, but then expecting more than that on a cruise ship is probably too much. They pack a lot into the time (about 90 minutes overall). The views of the Dubai City skyline are outstanding. The weather was cool and breezy. The cruise itself is pretty smooth.
Burj Al Arab Jumeirah
If you have the money to stay here, this is a once in a lifetime experience. The place is immaculate. Even if you do not have the money to stay here, venture up to the cocktail lounge on the top level and experience some of the best drinks you will ever have! Great views of the sea from the bar. The sky bar is a must! Such beautiful views of the city. If you’re getting a room, pay extra for the panoramic views. They are worth it!
