Today we will show you some of the Unbelievable Natural Phenomena of India and believe me you will be totally amazed by these. Some of these caused as a result of bizarre behaviors of weather & some of them has no explanation till now.

#1. Red Rain

The first time it came in 1986 and it occurs number of times after that. In 2001 form 25th July to 23rd September the people of Kerala saw the heaviest Red rainfall. Scientist initially thought that its was for meteor burst but it was not full proofed. In the end, government declared that the red color was caused for the presence of airborne spores from terrestrial algae.

#2. Glowing Forest

The Western Ghats forest comes o life at night. The green light caused by a bioluminescent fungus and it intact with bark and twigs. It is a very rare terrestrial bioluminescence than marine occurrences.

#3. Barisal Guns

Place: Ganga & Bhramaputra Delta

The sounds from the delta were never being explained. The sounds range from earthquakes of rock bursts to mud volcanoes and storm-driven waves still remain a mystery. It is also known as Mistpouffers, the sonic booms commonly heard by the people who are living on waterfronts.

#4. Alia & Chir Batti

Place: West Bengal & Assam

This natural phenomena is known as Aleya in West Bengal & Chir Batti in Gujarat. The World recognizes it as the-wisp and spook lights.

It is as strange as beautiful. Those who have seen this for the first time experienced a spine-chilling time.

#5. Mass Bird Suicide

The local villagers believe that some spirits come from the sky and beat the birds to death. This phenomenon & bizarre incident is happening for over a hundred years in a village called Jatinga in Assam. This place called as the annual mass suicidal place of birds.

The scientists explain the the local birds are disoriented by the monsoon fogs and they fly towards the evening lights which they see in the village houses and buildings. They crashed into it blindly.

#6. Lonar Lake

52000 years back a meteor fall in this little town, Lonar of Maharashtra. This place is called home to the only meteorite crater in India. The Lonar lake is very picturesque place and must visited destination of travelers. It is also a geological survey spot as well as picnic spot for the local. Those who love watching wildlife like gazelles, moor, magpies, fowls and those who love birds for those it is just like a paradise.

#7. Magnetic Hill

This place drags the vehicles to uphill even the ignition off. This place in Leh is known to have a very strong magnetic properties. Though the reality is the hill creates an optical illusion, also the place is located in a horizon which is completely obstructed. For this everyone think that it is actually an incline but it is a decline and the movement is only gravity.

#8. Retreating Beach

Place: Chandipur, Odisha

This beach is located in Balasore District of Odisha and it lies near Bay of Bengal. Here the skies descent upon the waters and by dusk one witnesses a new faet revealed. The water recedes more than 3 miles from the coastline and return back when the high tide comes and it happens 2 times daily.

#9. Great Banyan Tree

Place: Howrah, West Bengal

This Banyan tree is over 250 years old and covers an area of 3.5 square acres. It is placed in the Guinness Book of World Records and located in the Howrah India Botanical Garden of West Bengal.

It has over 3300 aerial roots and the trunk of the tree remains lost.

#10. Bioluminescent Beach

Place: Lakshadweep

The beach of Lakshadweep comes in life at night when the sea shores are washed up with bioluminescent plankton. It looks like fireflies and creates a breathtaking beautiful night beach.
